Produced by Tortoise's John McEntire at Chicago's Idful Studios, the album was instantaneously (if middling ironically) lauded as an example of "post-rock" (an association that as much proves the meaningless of the "genre" as Trans Am's possess telling to it), in turn leading to a short alive tour of duty as Tortoise's opening act. Wyclef Jean has recorded a track for Venue Williams that will serve as paper music for the lawn tennis player end-to-end her appearance at the U.S Open tennis tournament in Queens, New York.

Coldplay reveal new album title
Coldplay have revealed the title of their fourth album, which will be released on 16 June.
The band's new record will be entitled 'Viva La Vida' and is named after a painting by artist Frida Kahlo.
The title translates as 'Long Live Life'. Frontman Chris Martin said he decided to name the album after Kahlo's painting as he found her life inspirational. Kahlo had suffered from polio.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, the singer said: "She went through a lot of s***, of course. And then she started a big painting in her house that said 'Viva La Vida'. I just loved the boldness of it."
However, Martin admitted that the title may remind some people of Ricky Martin's global hit single 'La Vida Loca'.
"Everyone thinks it comes from Ricky Martin, which is fine. I have absolute respect. I've been through this before, naming something or someone and everyone saying 'that's a terrible name'," said Martin, referring to calling his daughter Apple.
He added: "So when 'Viva La Vida' came along, I was kind of annoyed because I'm going to have to try and convince everybody of this, but it just felt right."

Harvey Korman dead at age 81
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Comic actor Harvey Korman, who co-starred on U.S. television's "The Carol Burnett Show" in the 1960s and '70s and in "Blazing Saddles" and other Mel Brooks movies, died on Thursday at age 81.
Korman died of complications from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm he suffered four months ago, according to a statement issued by the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center.
"It was a miracle in itself that he survived the incident at all," his daughter, Kate Korman, said in a statement.
"Everyone in the hospital referred to him as 'miracle man' because of his strong will and ability to bounce right back after several major operations. Tragically, after such a hard-fought battle he passed away," she added.
The lanky actor, whose talents ranged from leading man to voice-over artist, won four Emmy Awards for his work on "The Carol Burnett Show" between 1967 and 1977.
He also played a prominent supporting role, as the domineering character Hedley Lamarr, in the 1974 western spoof "Blazing Saddles," and appeared in two other Brooks films, "High Anxiety" and "The History of the World: Part I."
In recent years he provided voice-overs for the children's television cartoon series "Hey Arnold!" and as the character Dictabird in the 1994 live-action feature film "The Flintstones."

Hirsch says, "Vivid took considerable time and spent a substantial sum of money to authenticate the footage and we are very comfortable that this is the real thing.
"We believe that those who say otherwise are relying on their emotions to make unsubstantiated claims. If Experience Hendrix can prove definitively that it's not Jimi Hendrix on this footage then we will pay them $100,000."
